RECAP: Hurricane Earl hits Sherkston!

Back in 2010, early September, Hurricane Earl hit Canada as it was fading down. When I say fading I mean 40+ knots of wind and the biggest waves I've ever sailed in Ontario. The spot is Lake Erie, Sherkston Shores. Wave sailers should definitely check this place out.

Bellow is a video I put together for professional freestyler Phil Soltysiak CAN-9 (www.philipsoltysiak.com), ranked 6th overall in PWA freestyle 2010. He's using his 3.8m Sailworks Revolution and 88l Starboard Flare. Bellow that is a video of me sailing that same day, I was overpowered on my 4.2m and freestyling in those conditions seemed impossible, but Phil's a pro and he put on a sick show.

Check it out!
